Livelihood Restoration and Development

The development of large infrastructure projects has socio-economic and environmental impacts on local communities which may be physically or economically displaced. As part of a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) it is important to develop a Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) which at the very least restores (but preferably improves) the livelihoods of Project Affected People (PAPs).
